The 2001 Birmingham Testers Run

The Birmingham Testers Run is an annual rideout from a number of the old factories in the West Midlands. The machines are from the post-war heyday of the British motorcycle industry in the 1950s and 60s.

In 2001 the route went along a lovely route via Wenlock Edge and, after a break in Church Stretton (where these photographs were taken), over the Long Mynd. Traversing the Long Mynd is quite a challenge, but on a good day the views are well worth it.
